About us in detail
Being Local carries the added benefit of our studios and staff being available for our FREE re-take service if a student were absent on the photography day, should anyone feel less than happy with their images taken in the school, or if they simply need a quieter environment, we are here to help.
On the day – Our team arrives with an assistant and if you are a larger school we send extra staff to ensure your photography day runs smoothly. This enables us to work with only student helpers, if you prefer, no direct involvement from your staff is necessary.
Our QR system allows us to work with senior class helpers to bring classes and siblings as required. Simply send your class lists in advance with the relevant information and let us do the rest. We can supply SEEMIS referenced files back to the school which import into your system seamlessly. So from the moment we step into the school we aim to provide the best strucrure, process and outcome, with the least disruption to the staff or school day.

Leavers Sets
This P7 & S6 Leavers Set is one of our flagship products which builds from the first year at school to the last into a very special and unique memento signifying the move into a new stage of life.
Presentation Sets
These custom mounted sets are designed to offer the best value and choice, not only being available as a standalone product displaying all three images taken in one set, but also acting as the example and starting point to choose individual images or combination of images available to order from any of our set packs or products.
Those with more than one child are protected from additional costs by our “Fair Pricing” Policy, where the price of their set remains the same as the price for one child. Additionally, when ordering from our Packages menu, our multi pose family packs automatically provide the equivalent number of images to those shown in the Presentation Set examples – A one child family can order a copy of all 3 images as part of a Package and a six child family can order a copy of all 6 images – all for the same price, offering parity to larger families. Not only this, but total costs are reduced again when ordering multiple packages, with our Sibling & Duplicate discounts.
Class Portraits
Uniquely combined Spring Portraits and Class images, available mounted together or individually with products and packages available in any combination to suit all budgets. For Class Groups, there need not be a sacrifice of style or quality over practicality, we adapt to fit your needs, being able to provide Formal or Informal sittings and everything in-between.
Keeping to our “Fair Pricing” Policy and our commitment to keeping the cost of the school day to a minimum, we again reduce the cost of these sets to multi child families when ordering multiple packages, with our Sibling & Duplicate discounts.
Us Giving Back…
At the end of each students School life we like to gift every P7 & S6 leaver with a Class Group image. Ensuring everyone has lasting reminder of their final year. An alternative image is taken along with the usual Spring session, in which we encourage them to make the image their own. We keep this on file and provide one for each student before leaving the school to move on to their next stage in life where ever that may take them. This is our way of giving something back to the school, parents and students alike.
Complimentary Services – included at no cost to the school
As part of our complimentary services to you, we provide support for all of your possible additional photographic needs. Whether that is coverage for prize giving’s, school productions, nativity plays, parties or any event be it school or PTA, we are able to create memories for parents and students alike. On top of direct support we are happy to provide Studio Vouchers to support your own fundraising. Through these, we can also help add an extra revenue stream to the school.
Of course, as you would expect, as standard, we offer complimentary staff photographs, secure online ordering, Seemis referenced files, staff discounts, and commission or supplementary revenue options. Talk to us about what best fits your needs.
Prices & Packages
We are aware of and agree with the emphasis to keep the cost of the school day to a minimum. With this in mind we structure our packages and prices to offer a low starting cost with more in all our packs than other leading companies in the industry by a significant margin.
All of our Portrait products are available digitally or as physical prints from only £7.50. All of our Family Packages and Sets come mounted as standard, which is again, an industry leading option. However we offer the choice to leave out mounts for those who know they will not require them and wish to minimise their environmental impact. Our School Memento & Keepsake (otherwise known as a Sharing Bundle) range forms part of many packs as well as having stand alone options, which we think helps reinforce the school’s presence in the community, combined with a discretionary schools voucher scheme, our Fair Price for Families Policy, Sibling and Duplicate discounts, one of lowest entry prices and some of the best value combination packs available in the industry, we ensure there is something for everyone in our product range.
Where pupils are shown in example images, all permissions have been provided. Where Class Groups or Class Portraits are represented all faces are obscured intentionally for security.
